The Image module can be used on a stereo channel to adjust the left/right width and image positioning. The settings can be applied at any point in the channel signal flow (by moving the Image module in the Channel Config display).

The Image module is available for stereo channels only. If a mono channel is in access, then the IMAGE controls are unlit/greyed out.

Operation

The Image can be controlled from the Central Control Section or Main Display once a channel is in access. It can also be assigned to the Free Controls on a channel fader strip.

On the Central Control Section:

  1. Locate the IMAGE controls.
  2. The STEREO button should be enabled; it can be used to link or unlink the channel in access (as described earlier).
  3. Press ON to switch the image module into circuit.
  4. By default, the Style is set to off.
    1. Adjust WIDTH to narrow or widen the stereo image.
    2. Adjust POS to move the position of the image within the stereo field. In this instance, the position is anchored centrally.
  5. Alternatively, turn Style on (from the Main Display).
    1. Adjust WIDTH to narrow or widen the stereo image (as above).
    2. Adjust POS to adjust the left (or right) position of the stereo image; the width narrows or widens accordingly.
