Each channel is color-coded for quick identification. The colors are used in the label display backgrounds, by buttons in their off state (if Button Glow Brightness is enabled) and in the Channel Display (if Show Fadersense is enabled).

Default Colors

By default, the following colors are applied: white = input channels; green = aux masters; yellow = groups; red = sums; blue = VCA masters.

Editing the Channel Color

The channel color can be edited from the Channel Config display. For example, to use red for all mic inputs, yellow for playbacks, etc.

1.    Open the Channel Config display, on the Central GUI, using one of the following methods.
  • Press the CHAN button on the SCREEN CONTROL panel.
  • Select Channel → Channel Config from the GUI page menu.
  • Press CTRL + 3 on the console keyboard.

2.    Select the channel you wish to edit - either by pressing its fader SEL button or using the Access/Assign panel.


You can use the Couple group to adjust parameters across multiple channels.

3.    Assign a different color using the color options (boxes) at the top left of the display.

The Select button can be used to copy the channel color, as part of a copy and paste operation, See Parameter Copy/Assign.

The Reset button will reset the color back to its default (e.g. white for an input channels).

4.    To reset the color-coding of all channels to their defaults, then use the Reset Colors (Default) option (under Fader/Joystick in the System Settings display).
