The Delay module provides up to 1.8 seconds of delay. It can be adjusted in ms, frames or meters, and can be positioned at any point in the channel signal flow (using the Channel Config display).
Delay Parameters
The delay parameters are:
- On/Off
- Delay Time - from 1 sample (0.02ms) to 1.8 seconds
- Delay Mode - changes how the delay time is adjusted: in milliseconds (ms), frames (frms) or meters (m)
Operation
The Delay can be controlled (for the selected channel) from the Central Control Section or Main Display. It can also be assigned to the fader strip Free Controls, either individually (per channel) or globally (across all bays).
From the Central Control Section:
- Locate the DELAY controls (on the DIG AMP/DELAY/INSERT/DIROUT panel).
- Press ON to switch on the module (and apply the delay).
- Move the rotary control to adjust the delay time. The current value is shown on the Central GUI module pop-up window or Main Display.
- Alternatively, click on the Time field in the Main Display to type in a specific value from the console keyboard.
- Touch the MODE button on the Main Display to cycle around the delay time options – ms, frames or meters.
