The Health page provides status monitoring for the PSUs, fans, temperature, voltage and current.

Operation (using HOME)

The main Health page has no content, but provides access to the sub-pages.

If a parameter's value can be edited, then a data entry method is provided. Otherwise, the field is for information only. How to edit the values is described here.

PSUs & Fan Status

The examples below show the Health sub-pages for a PSU and Fan Status. The fields are for information only.

Temperature Monitoring

The Temperature Monitoring sub-pages can be used to check the temperature of a component (e.g. for the FPGA on the processing blade). This works as follows:

  1. Start by turning on the Enable Temperature Updates option (under All Temperature Monitoring).

  2. Then select the sub-page for a component (e.g. Proc FPGA).
    • The Current Temp Value updates in real time (providing that Enable Temperature Updates is enabled).
    • The Set Point shows the safe (operating) value.

  3. It is recommended to turn off Enable Temperature Updates once you have completed the temperature checks.

If the Current Temp Value exceeds the Set Point, then the fan speed will increase, and vice versa. i.e. All of the temperature control takes place automatically.

Voltage & Current Monitoring

The Voltage and Current Monitoring sub-pages work in a similar manner to the temperature monitoring described above.
