Waves for mc² - GlobCon Installation

This topic describes how to download and install the GlobCon software on the Waves Axis Scope PC.

GlobCon is a global control software platform from DirectOut. In the Lawo/Waves plugin server installation, it is required to configure the routing and synchronization options for the EXBOX.SG converter (as described later).

Step 1: Download the GlobCon Installer

Start by downloading the GlobCon installer directly from this link:

https://storage.googleapis.com/globcon-web-api.appspot.com/globcon-1.13.2.exe

Alternatively, you can open your browser and:

• Go to GLOBCON - Free Audio Control Software (directout.eu)
• Click on "Downloads".
  

  

• Click on "globcon software – Windows".
  

  

Step 2: Install the GlobCon Software

Then follow the steps below to install the software.

• Go to the Downloads folder and double click on "globcon-1.12.0.exe".
• Select "I accept the agreement" and click on "Next".
  

  

• Click on "Next".
  

  

  
  
• Click on "Next".
  

  

  
  
• Select "Create a desktop shortcut" and click "Next".
  

  

  
  
• Click on "Install".
  

  

  
  
• Deselect "Launch GlobCon" and click "Finish".
  

  

• Following a successful installation, the GlobCon icon can found on the desktop.
