The Encoder Steps used for gadget parameters may be modified on a per panel base.

Modifying this setting will influence stepping for ALL parameters accessed by this panel. Some values will become inaccessible. Before changing this setting assure that all parameters accessed will the specific panel will remain operational.

To change the value use e.g. regedit and navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VirtualStudioManager\vsmStudio\Registered Devices\

Open the folder with the identifier of the panel to be changed and add a DWORD value with the name “Encoder Steps” and specify the desired stepping. This value will become active the next time the panel reconnects to the system.
