Open the Axon Cortex Software and select your Frame. Select the GXP880 (1) and configure the network settings (2).

Create Connection
Create a x-Switch connection over pro-bel SW-P-08 (1) to the IP-Address of the GXP880 with Port 7800.

Create a new port and enter a description (1). Enter the IP-Address of your GXP880 (2) and enter port 7800 (3).

Add the respective vsmStudio matrix layer to the connection (1).

Technical Notes
- The switch-port to which the axon frame is connected, may need to be switched to 10Mbit/s half duplex.
- The GXP880 accepts only one connection at any time.
Supported based on Firmware 0604 is:
- crosspoint switching is working and reported back.
- on connection actual crosspoints aren’t reported.
- crosspoints aren’t reported if switched on the GXP880 without vsmStudio.
