The Pathfinder Core PRO Probel (sw-p-08) implementation supports TCP.
Each Probel instance can be set up as either a tcp listener or a client, so the connection can be initiated from either Broadcast Controller side or Axia side, according to the selected setup.
Each instance is configured to respond to a specific Probel matrix and level and then allows to assign this instance to a router in Pathfinder Core PRO.
Each instance can also be set up to use General Switcher or General Router protocol. The router it is tied to, can be anything Pathfinder Core PRO knows how to route, including audio, gpio, raw data, or combinations thereof. The router is set up in Pathfinder Core PRO and then the respective Probel interface is assigned to that router. AXIA usually recommends setting up a virtual router specifically for this purpose.
Based on our latest information, AXIA's implementation is only a subset of the entire Probel protocol that might be possible to extend on request.
AXIA's Pathfinder Core PRO implementation is based on the command set that was already implemented in their legacy PathfinderPro, and multiple customers and projects are already successfully using the sw-p-08 protocol interface between VSM and PathfinderPro.
Based on our latest information, the probel interface is included in AXIA's base license.
