Supported Commands

Keep Alive (Query firmware version)Keep alive message. Not logged.
Get Crosspoints (View all ties)Gets the health info about the PSU(s), inter matrix communication and the matrix status itself.
Set Crosspoint (Make tie)Performs a crosspoint switch operation (On Hurricane device also returns the switch status containing possible errors)
Get Input States (View input connection status)Gets the states of all input devices.
Get Output States (View output connection status)Gets the states of all output devices.
Input Status Changed (Device input status changed)Unsolicited message which reports an input device state change.

Configuration Details

It is required to configure the Matrix Controller through the Extron software before it can be used by the VSM.

Known Issues

It seems that when setting crosspoints the matrix controller first sets the output to blind and then sets it to the new input.
