Include .NET in Windows Update process

Various VSM applications make use of .NET framework or core. While .NET patches are not included by default in the Windows update process, it is still important to keep .NET up to date.

An added Registry entry is required in order to include .NET in following Windows Update processes.

Please find here a PowerShell script that will help you to set the required key.

Editing the System Registry incorrectly can cause serious issues that may require you to reinstall the operating system. We cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of the Registry Editor can be solved. Use the Registry Editor at your own risk.

Future VSM Server Images will include the key and no further action will be required.
