Server Warranty Regulations
Every HP server purchased directly from Lawo is provided by our global partner AVNET. HP Servers are delivered with a global limited hardware warranty package and a service level, operated by HP regional service centers or third-party tied providers. vsmServers are not included in service level agreements between Lawo and the customer (care4).
The global hardware warranty for DL360 servers includes
- a limited 5 years hardware warranty &
- a limited 3 years warranty on SAS harddrives delivered with the server hardware.

Make sure to have the serial numbers of your server products available.
It is recommended to create an account at HPE.com and to register/link your server products. Through your account, you may also add further options to your individual service plan.

The latest recommended specifications for a vsmPanel client workstation are:

A vsmPanel PC Workstation cannot be purchased from Lawo.
OS Patches and Updates
The customer is responsible to keep the workstation OS up to date. OS patches and updates should be installed when available. As some patches and updates require the system to restart, make sure to schedule downtimes properly.
OS Upgrades may cause incompatibilities. Before planning an upgrade, please make sure to check if vsmPanel is compatible with the upgrade version.
It is strongly recommended to install all Windows OS updates before doing a vsmPanel update or upgrade.
