This topic explains how a diamond frame can be expanded.
1. The minimum width = 2-faders.
2. The width increases in 2-fader steps by adding standard modules.
3. The depth can be increased by adding extension modules.
4. The Virtual Extension (VX) can be added to both standard and extended frames. It occupies the space above two modules, and so is only available for certain frame widths: 2 ME, 4 ME, 6 ME or 8 ME.
